Trip 2 of our 2011 Camping Fun

Even though we have several camping trips lined up, we had not been on one since our Paris Mountain trip back in February so needless to say all of us have been chomping at the bit to get back out there. We decided for April to head to one of our old standbys. Calhoun Falls is our ultimate favorite. We've stayed at a different site every time and have never been let down. This one was especially exciting-we booked it several months in advance to help ring in K's 5th birthday and we were able to snap up one of the top 10 sites in the state. As you can see from the pictures above....It was absolutely gorgeous!

 It was also extra special because we had some great family come along for the ride too. K loved having his Aunt Jeni and Uncle Tye there to help celebrate his birthday. Since we left E back at the house with Nana it was all about the birthday boy on this special weekend.....

Happy Birthday to you....Happy Birthday to you.... :) I brought along a tiny little cake so we could make sure to sing Happy Birthday and of course let the birthday boy blow out the candles and make a wish!

Things got a little Wild....Yes above that is K doing stunts on his new "4-wheeler." He also decided to try to scale a cliff on this thing and ended up having it flipped over on top of him.....Eeeek!

Things got a little Crazy....Wrestling matches with mommy, being dunked in the water by Daddy, water football and water guns....All a bunch of boy kind of fun!

...and things were just Perfect!
We owe Tye and Jeni a big thanks for coming out and helping make K-Man's birthday weekend much more special. We had a blast and can't wait for our next camping adventure next month!!
