Day after the "Snow Storm 2011" as they call it...I have to admit I do find that a little humorous but as we all know the media has to add a little drama into everything.
These are the roads in my neighborhood though. Nasty, nasty!
Why does this make me happy, you wonder!? No daycare for the boys! No work for Daddy & I! And another day at home playing, snuggling, and eating yummy warm foods with the family.
YOu are so lucky.. we still had school( although the three twons closest to us did not, yesterday) and My Hubby spent over 2 hours getting to work. His commute is usually 45 minutes..Enjoy the family time.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective here.
ReplyDeleteOh I hated walking in snow and ice when I was in college in Iowa. And we rarely ever got snow days.
Exact same thing going on here.
ReplyDeleteI love the perspective you got on this. Snow coming my way....it's winter, wha cha gonna do?
ReplyDeleteCool photo.
ReplyDeleteLucky you! They hardly ever close my office on snow days, so we either have to trek to the office or use up a precious vacation day :( Great photo, by the way!

ReplyDeleteWe had similar days the week before Christmas. Part from the stress of wondering whether my online Christmas gifts were going to be delivered, it was a lovely 3 days, completely isolated, just family.
