Week 15 and a very happy birthday to the oldest kiddo!!

This week has been all about the K-meister! Six! It is so hard to believe he is six! We kept the whole party idea pretty quiet this year and decided to head over to a friends house for a cook out, cake and presents. The dude made out like a bandit! Bike, roller blades, money, new wallet, Wii games, DS games, a GA jersey that he hasn't taken off in 3 days now....I think I'm going to have to sneak it off to wash it in his sleep.
This is how his birthday morning started:
and this is how it ended:
Two cakes! Yes, one to take to school which is seen above and then the other for dinner.
Presents!!
No, we're not crazy! He didn't get drums for his birthday. He did enjoy playing them though! From the looks of this picture he seems like a natural.
And that's it! Another year done...another year older. It's crazy how fast time flies.
In other news we've settled in quite nicely from our camping trip. The dogs, kids, and of course us adults were all exhausted! We've enjoyed somewhat of an unproductive week.
That picture in the middle of E is a new fun app I've found on my iPhone. When I need a good laugh I just pull that picture up.
And of course, lets not forget the chickens, as they do feel like they rule the roost!
These little girls are getting bigger and bigger everyday! You can see in that bottom picture that little BBQ is about ready to fly the coop.....So with that being said-it's pretty obvious what we'll be doing this weekend. Yep, building them their new coop for outside. We are going to attempt to build them something called a chicken tractor. Wish us luck! I'm sure I'll be back with pictures and hopefully no stories of loss of fingers in the process.

Week 13!

Fish, Chickens, Birthdays....Oh my! Busy busy week it's been! I've barely found time to sit down and write about it!
I do love our neighborhood! The boys have some great friends and the pond to fish in is awesome! Seriously, this is probably the smallest bass I have ever seen!
Chickens!!! Oh yeah, we've got chickens! Three of them! McNugget, BBQ, and Hermione are their names. They are super sweet and we can't wait until they start producing eggs! As of now they live in our kitchen but we'll begin building their coop here soon.
And last but certainly not least is the dear hubs birthday and a little hanging out....It has been gorgeous outside and we can't get enough of it!! This weekend coming up is our first camping trip of the year and also our first trip in our new camper. We're so excited!! Four more work days to get through and we're there! Can't wait!!

Week 12-According to iPhone pics it's been a good one!

I shouldn't be sitting here writing about the 12th week of the year right now. We've actually purchased some elephant dung compost from the zoo about two hours away and unfortunately the storms tonight have postponed our pick up. Boo on that! I'm rather disappointed and wonder when we'll ever be able to get down there now.
This first set of pictures were all taken on St. Patty's Day. We had a great family day full of baseball out at the field down the road from us, planting plants in our yard, and of course....homemade GREEN BEER!!
In the second set of pictures lets start out with Aaron's wonderful ability of putting up his clothes! I fold them but refuse to put them away! I'm honestly starting to think he may be slightly confused on which part of the dresser you are supposed to use. Of course the rest of the photos are of us being outside. It has been beautiful! On the last day of winter it was 87 degrees!! I love it! I love the hot! I love the trees, flowers, and garden blooming. I'm just so thankful that myself and family don't fight any allergies from this time of year. I'm not sure how we'd handle it.
Last but not least are a couple of randoms from the week. Since I've decided to get Aaron trash service pickup for his birthday....(yes, I'm serious) I came up with the plan of doing his whole birthday "trash" themed-therefor as his gifts he will be opening....a box of trash bags, some garbage pail kid cards, an Oscar the grouch book, and then of course the final present of the trash pickup.....Also his cake will be done in the design of a trash compost pile. :)
Also in this set of pictures is the resort we've decided to stay at in where?? Walt Disney World!! I am so excited! We made our reservations last night to spend several nights there over the Halloween holiday. I am excited beyond words and just ready to start planning! I have to remind myself that it's only March and that we still have several other trips to enjoy before we get to that one. :)

It's a Friday Phone Dump!!!

Just in case it's not obvious for the week....I am loving my new phone! I love love to take pictures on it! It's also been a pretty good week for pictures anyways. The weather has been wonderful. Spring is without a doubt on it's way. The week has been full of working in the garden, going for long walks with the dogs, and finding really fresh fruit at the market. Another really great event that happened was K was elected as the Kid of Character in his class for trustworthiness. Way to go Mr. K-man! If there was ever a wonderful trait to have, trustworthiness would be it!
Our new puppy, Bear, is still adjusting to the life of potty training but he is doing so well otherwise! He's a sweet boy and gets along so well with Boodro and the boys. At this point he isn't one for walks but prefers to ride in the back of the stroller. Sooooo cute but not sure how that will be manageable once he gets full grown.
I got another kick start on my working out. I went to the gym every day this week and feel great! I have less than a month before our first camping trip of the season (yay!) and must get rid of some of this winter weight before then! I guess that's a wrap for week 10. I can't believe we're already 11 weeks into 2012. Where is it going!?!

I am also ashamed to admit that I TOTALLY forgot we were going to donate cans to a food drive/shelter this week. That's how busy life gets yet that is never an excuse! I know it's never to late to donate and that is still a very important plan of mine. Maybe we'll go pick them up this weekend!

Project 366: week 9

Well there is good news.....and bad news....

The good news is, I got a new phone!! Yippie! I've only had my Droid for 8 months and while it was a good phone I was really just ready to get back to Apple. I got the new 4S today and all I can say is, I love it!
The bad news: Well all my pictures I took on a certain app with my droid for the 366 project for this week have been lost. :( Bummer. I had some that I really liked. That's okay though. I'll keep going from this point forward using my the most famous app out there, Instagram. Speaking of, you can find me @GardenGirl81.
With that being said....Here is my one and only picture for this weeks 366 project and for InstaFriday. I LOVE this print!
So cute!! The weeks been good but I have no doubt that next week will be even better. It's getting to be that time of year again where we can plant some of our "not so picky" plants like sugar snap peas, onions, and beets into the garden. The not so little one's birthday is only a month away so planning for that has begun and all our camping trips are in sight. I'm ready!!
This week coming up will be full of meaningful fun. I've committed to getting involved in the #instafooddrive and bringing my family along for the ride. For more information, see below!

This week was a Fluke~Week 8

Write....delete....Write.....delete. I've been sitting here with this page up for over two hours and this is as far as I've gotten. We almost had a tragedy this week. Our little puppy, Fluke f/k/a Brewster, got into some ant poison. We've been spoiled by an older dog who doesn't get into anything....We just didn't think about it when we left it out. A big scare, several tears, a night, and a big vet bill later, thank goodness he's going to make it! I must admit the whole time I was flashing back to standing in the Humane Society. The adoption worker looked at me and said, "I'm so glad you're getting him. I can really tell he's going to a good home." And then this happened!!! Thankfully it all turned out happy in the end and the money we've spent on the most adorable mutt ever could have gotten us a very expensive pure bred that wouldn't have been nearly as special. ;)
On a more calmer note, we bought a juicer this week. I haven't quite mastered it yet. Honestly, I haven't mastered it at all. Three of the four drinks I've made have been pour down the drain worthy but we'll keep on trying. Juicing is so healthy for you so I'm pretty excited.
The Easter Bunny is getting closer to town and the decorating has begun. I have my office ready for the festivities and our home is slowly starting to get into the spirit.
Well Fluke is practically cutting back flips off our couch and just ran away with a paci. I think that's my queue to go. Happy Friday! I'm so looking forward to a nice calm wild weekend.

Friday, I'm in love....

It's Friday....and I'm in love with: mild nights, fire pits, and long weekends.
I'm tired of the cold. I'm starting to get the mid winter blues. I begin to worry about money....the mess in my house....the lack of time to do anything! I worry about how I will ever get ANYTHING done yet I continue to commit myself to things. I look out the window at the dirt spot in my yard and daydream about my thriving garden. Eventually we always give into the cold and go outside anyways. We just can't stand ourselves. Last weekend we worked in 45 degree weather with 15 mile an hour winds for 3 hours in our garden. My face was painted red the next day from wind burn. But I didn't care. Valentine's Day has come and gone. We all got some goodies. The boys, some chocolate and cupids to decorate and Mr. Hubs and I splurged on some surf and turf for dinner. Overall it's been a pretty good week and I'm really looking forward to our weekend. Nothing major planned except for Monday. I have the day off. School is still in session so the boys will be out and about. On a normal day off alone in the house I would be busy with housework, errands, and anything else to keep myself busy. I plan on doing just the opposite this Monday. The guilt will eventually start to sink in but I've been given strict orders to do nothing but lie around on the couch and watch whatever in the world I want to watch all day long. Hmmmm, I think I maybe can deal with that.

Project 366: Week 6

I've decided to try something a little different this week. Rather than having one picture of each day....Why not share, express, enjoy all pictures, no matter what day it may occur. I still plan on using my phone only for this project and saving my big camera for the more important events.....I just thought this idea made it a little more fun and interesting.

1. This was a cute little craft that I got off of Pinterest. You can't really see the whole picture but it's a little "gumball" machine made out of a terra cotta pot, a candle bowl, a little paint and candy. I think the total project cost me $3 and I love it!

2. How can you not love a mild winter??? I say that as our lows are in the teens this weekend and possible snow on Valentine's day. It has been mild though!!

3. Smash!! Yes, that's a smash journal. And I so want one! What better way to keep special memories? Next Purchase???

4. Valentine's day goodies! Oh, how I love preparing for holidays. I went to my most favorite store and bought all the goodies to make for the boys and their teachers.

5. Popcorn. My new favorite afternoon snack.

6. The. Story. Of. My. Life. If my truck isn't on E then something is not right with the day. I have gotten stuck on the interstate and wondered if I would get out of traffic before I hit total empty. Why do I cause myself this unnecessary stress??? I don't know. I honestly can't answer that.

7. Little Brewster at the vet. He did soooo good! I'm a proud momma and really, I think we've made a great choice.

8. Two of my favorite boys.

9. Taking the back roads. Leaving work today, I just needed a break. Life is sooo busy. It is a constant go from the moment my alarm goes off at 5am until the minute my head his the pillow at around 9pm from exhaustion. Two young boys, two dogs, an hour on the road traveling very busy interstates, a demanding job....a break was needed. I took the back roads, turned on oldies....yes, I do love the oldies, and just drove. The songs took me back to what life must have been like back then. It may not have seemed like it at the time but it seems to be so simple. Today's life is all about how fast things can get done. Today's worries involved man made drugs such as meth. Gas Stations sell "bath salt" that causes people to go on 48 hour binges before killing someone innocent.  You can't let your child play in their front yard. Life then was black and white. A lot like the movie Pleasantville

Project 366: Week 5~Our Happy Anniversary

I made it a whole month with taking a picture everyday! That's better than I did last year! :) One down, only 11 to go. This week was almost a crazy continuation from last week.....A week full of medical emergencies, working on our living room, and sleepy, sleepy cranky kids!

Day 29: I looked over the other night and spotted E reading a book to himself. He is so much more into books than K ever was and the fact that this book was about a dinosaur made it that much more interesting. Anything with animals grabs this little man's attention!

Day 30: I have been searching high and low for a little bench or stool that will fit into our new "mudroom." I bought this one but so far I can't say that I am exactly satisfied.

Day 31: Miserable, miserable day!! I woke up with a stomach ache. Didn't think much of it until it started getting worse throughout the day. I was joking around at work that I was having sympathy labor pains for my friend who was delivering her daughter. Little did I know that by the time I got home I would hardly be able to walk. Needless to say, 8 hours in the ER, blood work, and a cat scan later....I'm being sent on my way. They let me know there wasn't much they could do and loaded me up with pain medicine and called it a night. Can't wait to see that bill!!

Day 32: Our little E so tired. He doesn't sleep well over at this Nana's house which is where he stayed while I was in the hospital. The next night he came home and didn't move from our laps.

Day 34: Next night our other little man was tired! He spent two full nights over at his Nana's. I think they were both happy to be home sweet home.

Day 35: Happy Anniversary to both Aaron and I!!! It's been 6 crazy, fantastic married years with my best friend. We went out for a really nice meal to ring in the special day. I took a couple more pictures while we were there.
That's a wrap for the week. We all seem to be getting restless in this house. We're ready for spring. Ready for a nice big garden. We're ready to go camping, to be able to play outside, and to enjoy the heat! We're one week down which mean it's one more week closer!

Project 366: Week 4

My name is Jessica/Jess/Mommy/Momma/Hey Babe, and I have a problem. I have a problem with sitting still and taking a rest. I feel the day is a waste if I have it off and I'm not involved in some sort of project or trip. Even when I wake up and tell myself that I am going to relax today, I find it virtually impossible to actually conquer that goal. Luckily I have married someone much like me and we have created two awesome boys who are growing up to know no different. This past weekend was no exception to the rule. Aaron worked all day on Saturday so needless to say the boys and I were in serious need for something to do Sunday. I had decided that I would paint my laundry room....so off to Lowe's we go. Well a quick trip to Lowe's to pick up paint turned into an hour long quest and several hundred dollars later 13 boxes full of new floor sat in our truck. Now you can only guess what I spent the entire last week doing!!
Day 21: We're in the process of moving E over to his big boy bed. It seemed like K took this transition so easily and with that big smile on his face, I thought E would too....Yeah, not so much. We haven't slept a night in it yet.

Day 22. The floors! We had just begun. In a room that measures 14x30, this was only the beginning!

Day 23. We are preparing for the 100th day of school!! In kindergarten the 100th day is a pretty big deal. One of our homework projects was to count out 100 anythings....Well we decided on 100 kisses! :)

Day 24: Day 24 was not the best day of the week. I received a call from K's after school teacher saying he had a slight accident and that I better head on over. I'm used to "boo boo reports." Trust me, with two boys, I've had plenty! What I was not prepared for was the giant gash in my baby's poor forehead from the steps he fell on. Needless to say, we spent a good part of the evening in the after hours emergency care getting all sown up.

Day 25: They were concerned with the gash being so deep that the stitches may actually not hold. This is a picture of my lil' guy after leaving the Dr. for a second time. It wasn't a very fun visit. They had to renumb the wound and do a little more work to it.

Day 26: Picking out the paint!! One project always leads to another. At this point the floors weren't even done yet but I knew a new paint job was in order!

Day 27: K's art project he brought home from school. He called it his Ninja Racing Snail. I thought it was cute.

Day 28: Who doesn't like a good burger from Fuddruckers!!??

Start at the beginning of these pictures and fast forward to 8 days later.....We have all the flooring down and half the the livingroom painted. I'm exhausted and ready to sit by the cozy fire and call it a night.

Project 366: Week 3

Not many highlights to end the third week in January. January tends to be a pretty dreary month. It may possibly be my least favorite month of the year. Old Man Winters has made his entrance and he is a beast. I can't stand the cold. Along with the cold this week, we've also had rain so that's made it no fun! We've had some excitement with our camper. Everyday when we'd come home from work the radio would be on. At first, because we had it unlocked, I started thinking that maybe a homeless person had taken up residence...but then we started locking it and it never failed, everyday the empty camper would be jammin' out to Rock 93.3. FINALLY last night we decided to take a closer look at what in the world could possibly be going on and discovered that we think the timer was set from the previous owners. Sooooo, mystery solved?? I don't know. I guess we'll see this afternoon if the radio decides to come on or not. :) Now on to the daily photos:
Day 15: Lunch for the boys....Hot Octodogs. :) I got this cute idea from Pinterest. Who on earth with any creative skills or kids doesn't like Pinterest? E must have been a little weirded out and pretty much ignored his lunch. K loved it though!

Day 16: I've taken on a new obsession. hehehe. If I'm not doing one thing then I'm doing another. This was my first attempt and it turned out pretty well. I call it my valentine scarf. I've since moved on to a more neutral scarf for myself and I'm already thinking Christmas presents for next year too. Scarves, hats, socks, oh my...

Day 17: K checking out his new "nightlight." I put these on his wall before he got home from school the other day. He loved them! I do too. They look pretty neat in contrast with his bright red wall.

Day 18: My boys are complete opposites in so many ways and I love it. Blonde hair/Dark hair. Fair skin/Tan skin. Cupcakes and Cookies/Fresh fruit and veggies. Somewhat outgoing/Extremely shy. Loves to dance and cut a rug/Loves to play video games and watch movies.

Day 19: This was a bit of an irritation of mine this week. I went up to a blood drive and was turned away because they were going to be leaving in 8 minutes. I was a little peeved at the time but even more peeved when I left the store almost 30 minutes later and the bus still sat there. I understand they have families and want to go home but I also think there are other families who are in desperate need of blood donations and in the 30 minutes of their down time they could have easily managed to get my donation and leave. Okay, off my soapbox.

Day 20: Friday at the gym. My Kindle, music, and time are all I need for a good workout. I managed 4.49 miles before heading back to work. Today marks two weeks and two days since I've started and I've lost a total of 2.8lbs.

That's all for this week. I haven't been feeling great this morning, it's cold and rainy outside, and Aaron has to work ALL day. It could be the potential for a very long Saturday but I'm sure I'll find something for the boys and myself to get into. Have a great week!

Project 366: Week 2

Here I sit reflecting back on this past week with hot coffee on one side of me and my breakfast of one egg and a piece of dry wheat toast on the other. It was our first FULL week back to school and work and what a crazy week it was! Monday I thought it was Tuesday. Tuesday I thought it was Wednesday...and so on. You get the point. It was never ending! Now my house is a mess, the laundry is piled, and the boys are playing nicely one minute and fighting like cats and dogs the next.....There is no end to this madness. That's okay though, this is our life, and it certainly won't stop me from taking 15 minutes of quiet time to myself to post this weeks pictures.
Day 7/366: I call this my pyramid of success. Yes, I'm like everyone else starting a new year and trying to lose a little bit of weight. My goal was 20lbs and everyone gawked at my idea so we'll start with 12 or 15 and go from there. I've joined Weight Watchers and started going back to the gym. So far in my week and a half of this new "lifestyle" I've lost 1.2lbs. Not a ton but I'll go with it.

Day 8/366: Chocolate covered bananas. Yum! E and I loved these....Not so much anyone else though. That's okay. It just meant more for us.

Day 9/366: I walked into the kitchen to find this. I'll assume that one of the crazy young males in my house changed their mind and thought they should be nice enough to put it back for the next person. **That crazy young male being E.

Day 10/366: The sunset we were lucky enough to view while sitting out in the cold waiting on our ribs to be finished.

Day 11/366: We did it!!! And the website made it official. We traded in our smaller camper for one that is a bit bigger and a little nicer. I think after realizing how much we used it last year we knew that a bigger camper was in order. So excited, we get to pick it up today!

Day 12/366: I so meant to take a picture of K on this day. He was born on the 12th so I thought I would take a picture of him on the 12th of every month to see how he's grown throughout the year. Totally forgot. Instead here sits my ZERO point Weight Watchers soup. It was delish! Even Aaron liked it. We also got to use some of our frozen veggies from our garden last spring.

Day 13/366: The sunrise outside my work. I get there at the crack of dawn every morning. One of my favorite parts of my work day is watching how the sunrise reflects on all the windows of the building.

Day 14/366: POPCORN WORDS! This is something new to me. Each week K will have popcorn words that he is expected to know how to read to move on to the 1st grade. What happened to circle time and stuff in Kindergarten? I've written the words down and have taped them to his door. So far so good. I was really impressed this morning with how he did on them.

Well I guess my quiet time is over. I've got one child (E) that is jumping from the coffee table to the sofa, repeat, repeat, repeat and the other one (K) convinced that he wants to go play outside in the 20 degree weather.....

Week one of Project 366

So here I am again....Last year I made a commitment to myself to take a picture every single day of the year. Well let's face it, I. Failed. Miserably. With two kids, a busy life, bags, purses, and did I mention two VERY active boys :), it's just not practical for me to always have my big fancy camera on hand. This year I've decided to tone it down some. Of course I'll still be taking pictures with my camera but this year I vow to myself to take a picture every single day with my phone. What this means is that the pictures may not always be the best quality. They may not always be interesting because yes, I do spend 40-50 hours a week sitting behind the same exact desk, and they may be completely boring to the average Joe...but to me they will be a photo journal in between the normal post of our lives on a day to day basis. I hope to sneak in little craft projects or redos of the house, camping pictures that didn't quite make the cut with the regular camera, and just the day to day of us. So now...Let's get on to week one!
1/366. Our new building!! A and I have never attempted anything of the sorts. I'd say with this being our first time the building is looking pretty good. It's still not totally complete. It's hard trying to fit it into the time frame of work and family but we're getting there.

2/366. About the only good thing about Old Man Winter coming to stay are the clementines that he brings with him. YUM!

3/366. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee. My lifeline in the mornings.

4/366. Didn't I say Old Man Winters doesn't bring much good? Yes, I meant it! 18 degrees. Seriously??

5/366. This would be Elmo being eaten by a shark towel. This can only be done by a certain little boy of ours.

6/366. Bed Head~WHOA! I think it might be time for a hair cut.

That's it for this weeks Project 366. I'll be back next week!

Project 365: Week 4

It is so hard to believe 4 weeks have gone by and I have picked up my camera Every. Single. Day!! :) It's been quite a challenge but I've loved it.
I know I'm posting a little early but we have family coming in for the weekend and since all my pictures have been taken I thought I would go ahead and share.

Day 22/365
This is another picture from our bowling trip on Saturday. I was waiting for someone to hit the pins and make them all fly up in the air but....uh, that never happened.

Day 23/365
Tired and enjoying the sun. We got back into town on Sunday morning. It turned out to be a beautiful day so we spent a good bit of it outside. When the breeze kicked up it was a little chilly though. Poor Boodro wanted to go in so badly but yet his little social self didn't want to be inside alone so he curled up in a ball so he could stay out with the family.

Day 24/365
Yes, this is a freak snow fall that fell on Monday morning! Here I was bragging about being outside on Sunday and then it snows on Monday. Not much fell. Just enough to be beautiful. I was intrigued by the red Gatorade that had been left on the table against the black sky and white snow.

Day 25/365
Longing for summer, we eat a delicious fruit salad for snack after school and work. I must say that I am so happy our son didn't get my eating habits. For a snack I love to grab a bag of cheese puffs. When I asked K what he wanted he looked at me and said, "Um, how about grapes and strawberries!" You got it kiddo!!

Day 26/365
Driving home from work there was the most beautiful sky!! I was in such a rush to get to the house so I could try to capture it before the sun finally we down for the night.

Day 27/365
Good Night, K! This is my sweet boy's nightlight.

Day 28/365

There was a gorgeous sunrise this morning when I pulled up to work. You could see the fog coming off of the pond also. I like this picture just because it has so many colors. It just shows how beautiful nature can be in one snapshot.

Well that's the end of week 4. I can't possibly imagine what I'll manage to capture for next week. I'm sure I'll be able to come up with some sort of snapshot of each day in my life... Have a great weekend!

Project 365: Week 3

Time for my favorite post of the week! Actually I love all my post but this one gives me something to look forward to because not only can I post my pictures I've been taking throughout the week but it also means it's the weekend!
Wow, week three...It's hard to believe we're here already. Seems like just yesterday it was the new year. I also must admit this week posed a little more of a challenge after having the beautiful snow to photograph all last week. Anyways, without further ado lets get on to week three!!

Day 15/365
This could only be the work of my husband....I walked out the other day to find one of my son's cars loaded up with a small firework. I guess it wasn't as successful as he hoped. Doesn't look like too much damage was done after all.

Day 16/365
The diaper cake!!! Here is the finished product of the small sneak peak I gave earlier this week. This was my first attempt at making one of these and I think it turned out pretty well. It made for a great center piece and thoughtful/usable gift for the baby shower today.

Day 17/365
Could you tell I was grasping at straws by this point in the week!? :) Actually I really liked the way this picture turned out of my baby's piggy bank against the dark red cover on his diaper changing table.

Day 18/365
This is the staple of my mornings! My favorite travel coffee mug full of delicious hot coffee and the packets of sun crystals that add that perfect sweet touch.

Day 19/365
WOW! Yes, this is the moon! I was in the middle of cooking dinner on this night and my husband comes running in from the grocery store yelling, "hurry, grab your camera and keys and go right out of the neighborhood!!" I had no clue what I was after but figured if it caused that much of a reaction out of him it would probably be pretty obvious. So I take off to my car, dinner still on the stove, in my pjs and socks. When I made a right out of my neighborhood this is what I saw!! I struggled getting a clear picture. Let's face it-I was so hyped up from the adrenaline and literally sitting in the middle of the median with traffic passing by me so I did the best I could hanging out the window of my car. :)

Day 20/365
Roasted brussel sprouts...Yep, that's what you're seeing. I decided to try them out for the first time ever on my family. I cut them in half, brushed them with a little olive oil, sprinkled some salt & pepper on them and then covered them with fresh cut Parmesan cheese when out of the oven. Verdicts in: I was the only person in the family to actually eat them....Oh well.

Day 21/365

These were the beautiful blood oranges that were in the water pitcher at the baby shower I helped host today. I don't believe I have ever actually seen a blood orange and I actually thought they had been dyed with food coloring. Beautiful fruit and accent piece to a simple pitcher of water!

That's it friends! Another week begins tomorrow. We're getting the boys together with their cousins for a day or two so lots of fun should be coming our way. Have a great weekend!
